Hilal of Jamadi-Al-Awwal was sighted in Douglasville, GA (at 8:43pm eastern time), Austin, Blacksburg, VA etc.. on April 25, 2009G by naked eye. Hence Jamadi-Al-Awwal 1430H starts on April 26, 2009G in North America.

Hilal of Rabi-Al-Thani was sighted in Austin, Texas and some other states in North America on March 27, 2009G by naked eye. Hence Rabi-Al-Thani 1430H starts on March 28, 2009G in North America.

Hilal was not sighted anywhere in North America on January 26, 2009G. Hence we complete 30 days of the month of Muharram, and Safar 1430H starts on January 28, 2009G in North America.
